Who am I
On the pursuit to have a place on the internet which I can call home I started creating my own website. My name is Md. Imrul Hassan, but you can just call me Imrul as do most of my friends. I was born in Bangladesh and lived in the megacity Dhaka for 25 years of my life before going abroad for higher studies.
Education
I am currently doing a PhD in Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne. my research interest mainly encompasses in the area of Wireless Networks, Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks, Cognitive Radio, Radio over Fibre etc. I have completed my Masters in Radio Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea in 2008. Before that I completed PG.Dip. in ICT from BUET, Bangladesh in 2005 and Bachelors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from IUT, Bangladesh in 2003.
Hobbies
Apart from my professional life, I am passionate about photography. I am still learning portrait, landscape and macro photography. I love all sorts of gadgets and interested in mobile app development. My latest passion is solving the amazing Rubik’s Cube and probably someday I can solve it under a minute. I love music specially subcontinental music, and love to sing on my own.
